Job Skills & Requirements:   The successful candidate is likely to have the following key skills and attributes: 

  • Underwriting experience in the Motor Industry is required / is desirable
  • Experience in the credit / risk function of an established lending institution
  • Educated to third level / professional qualification level
  • Knowledge of Motor asset finance sector
  • Knowledge of the regulatory landscape governing the asset finance sector
  • Strong interpersonal skills – ability to interact with internal and external customers and be an exceptional team player
  • Strong knowledge of asset finance products, including leasing, hire purchase, and loans
  • Ability to analyse and interpret financial statements / bank statements would be desirable
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • The ability to work proactively, identify problems, and find solutions
  • Minimum APA (Accredited Product Advisor)

Job Skills & Requirements:   The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and knowledge –

  • Previous collections experience in a financial services or banking environment desirable
  • Hold Accredited Product Advisor (APA) status in Loans or be prepared to acquire this qualification
  • Ability to meet KPI's and weekly cash collection targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in the use of MS Word and Excel (experience with financial / banking systems a distinct advantage)

Responsibilities:    These include –

  • Preparation and consolidation of budgets, forecasts, integrated financial modelling of various group companies and subsidiaries
  • Preparation of monthly forecast and budget reports providing analysis and commentary across the various business segments
  • Preparation and maintenance of monthly run rate cash flow forecasts for the necessary business units
  • Supporting various business teams when new business opportunities are identified and ensuring financial impacts are built into planning and forecasting
  • Designing, developing and documenting complex business models, both for existing business and in evaluation of potential business opportunities
  • Carrying out relevant analysis of business models / opportunities and having an ability to present findings clearly both in writing and orally
